Dear Frank,
My husband passed away in 2019, and life as I knew it changed. So, in 2020 I moved in with my daughter until I could sell the home my husband and I had shared for one year, hoping it would be our forever home.
Entering a new phase of life and living in the “in-between” of restarting my life in a new location, my daughter decided to bring me to The Pantry.
Some time has passed and I am still in the process of repurposing my life, but I realize volunteering in The Pantry is a gift. While waiting for my house to sell and for things to turn around, I am finding out that serving is a beautiful way to wait.
