Our mission is to reach out to all who are expressing a need for food with an expectation that they will be served with compassion and generosity. About The Pantry – Douglasville

The Pantry started in 2001 in a small room provided by a local church. Within a few years, this outreach relocated to a local food pantry, where eight families were served the first week. By the third week, 55 families were being served. These formative years led to the establishment of the faith-based, non-profit organization called LifeTools Community Development Corporation. The Pantry has grown rapidly over the years. We have partnered with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, obtained our own building located on Hwy 5, and are presently serving hundreds of families weekly.

We rely heavily upon churches, schools, civic organizations, and others within our community who volunteer their time and give of their financial resources to support our mission to feed the hungry and share the love and compassion of Christ. Last year, along with nine other partnering agencies, we fed over 100,000 people. Truly, the need is great. Joining this support system, your financial giving will keep our hand extended to reach out to others who are waiting for our help.
